Sound Euphonium Season 3 releases episode 4 preview

Sound Euphonium Season 3 has revealed a preview of episode 4 scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 28. Jukki Hanada (The Dangers in My Heart) continues to write the script while Takuya Yamamura (Violet Evergarden episode 7 and 12) acted as the episode's director and storyboard artist. The anime is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Kyoto Animation returned to produce the animation for the third season with Shoko Ikeda designing the characters and Akito Matsuda composing the music. The first season premiered in April 2015 while the second season aired from October to December 2016. The cast also reprized their roles:

Euphonium Audio Season 3 Episode 4 – Preview Trailer

Sound! Euphonium is a light novel series written by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Nikki Asada. Takarajimasha published the first volume of the novel in 2013. A manga adaptation with illustrations provided by Hami was launched the following year. Yen Press has licensed Sound! Euphonium's novel is in English and the plot description is as follows:
Finding yourself, one note at a time…After a terrible disappointment at the All-Kyoto Concert Band Competition, music has lost its spark for Kumiko. But her first year at Kitauji High School is a chance for a fresh start. So when it comes time to choose a club, she can't resist rejoining the band – even though they simply suck. The stern new club director has promised to help them settle into the National team, but the trouble runs deeper than a lack of practice. Additionally, discord within the club brings up Kumiko's old insecurities. Can Kitauji High School find its rhythm before the competition? Kumiko will?
