Anime #Compass 2.0 reveals cast, staff, and television broadcast in 2025

Niconico Chōkaigi 2024 event announced staff, 2025 TV show and key art for #Compass 2.0 Combat Contingency Analysis System, NHN PlayArt's new anime project and real-time strategy game Dwango's online #Compass—Combat Contingency Analysis System (#Compass Sentō Setsuri Kaiseki System), on Sunday. The event also confirmed the cast. The game's YouTube channel began streaming a video message from Daisuke Ono, who will play 13 in the anime.

The anime's cast, some of whom have appeared in previous videos, include:

Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Fate/Grand Order: First Order) is directing the anime at Lay-duce.

The anime project will begin airing in 2025.

#Compass is a three-on-three capture-the-flag style fighting game. Players form teams of three by choosing from the game's colorful roster of characters and battle to capture checkpoints within a set amount of time. The team that takes control of the most checkpoints will be declared the winner.

Games in the iOS, Android, and Amazon apps are free to play with in-game purchases in Japan and Taiwan. It has more than 15 million downloads since its launch in 2016.

The game inspired a series of four-minute animated shorts by TMS Entertainment and other studios in 2018.

The franchise also includes several manga and novel projects.
