Very good news for movie and video game fans. The legendary movie The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been adapted into a game. Called Terminator Survivors, this is an open world survival game produced by Nacon.

Inspired by Resident Evil, Nacon says it will build this “T-800 stalker” to stay faithful to the franchise's lore, bringing players back to unforgettable memories of the two Terminator movies Firstly.

For gamers, the appearance of the T-800 will be similar to the role of Mr. X from Resident Evil 2, Nemesis from Resident Evil 3, Jack Baker from Resident Evil 7, and to a lesser extent, Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.

The Terminator Survivors home page shares: “The game takes place in 2009, shortly after the disastrous Judgment Day, during a time when Skynet's production capabilities had not yet reached their peak. The T-800, a true destroyer, serves as a reminder of Skynet's relentless pursuit through time. The T-800 the player encounters is one of these units, sent by Skynet in an effort to rewrite history and ensure future victory.”

Nacon is of the opinion that the original Terminator movies were all about robot assassins, so it would be quite fitting to have something similar in the video game adaptation. Gamers will have to get used to the ever-present feeling of fear and insecurity when knowing that they are constantly being chased, especially in a game where survival is the focus.

As expected, the game will officially launch on October 24, 2024.
