Five new actors will join the female cycling anime series Rinkai!. The new cast members will voice other supporting characters that will appear in the third episode of this week's anime. The film premiered in Japan on April 9, 2024.

New cast members will join Rinkai! Anime includes:

• Hinako Takahashi as Remi Hiroshima • Misato Murai as Midori Maebashi • Minami Shinoda as Rika Matsudo • Rena Maeda as Rio Kishiwada • Hiromi Kawakami as Yakuko Toyama

They join the main voice cast including:

• Umino Kawamura as Izumi Ito • Azusa Aoi as Nana Hiratsuka • Rena Hasegawa as Miko Yahiko • Saika Kitamori as Sachi Nagoya • Riho Sugiyama as Kinusa Takamatsu • Minami Hinata as Ai Kumamoto • Riko Sasaki as Tsutsuji Kurume

Takaaki Ishiyama (18if, Chaos;Head) is directing the original anime, with Hideki Shirane (The Duke of Death and His Maid) as the series writer and Hiromi Ono (Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 3 Episodes 2, 4, 6 , 7, 8, 10 chief animation director) as character designer. TMS Entertainment's Studio 6 division is handling animation production, with Maruga Factory providing animation production support.

The anime television series is part of Mixi's multimedia sports project that includes a 2024 manga titled Rinkai! Azalea by Kiyoshi Yamane.

Rinkai! follows the journey of several cyclists participating in the RINKAI TOURNAMENT — the first revival of women's cycling to return in 15 years.
