That part where I was reincarnated into a slime Part 3 Episode 4 review and summary – The anti-magic barrier is ready

We are treated to another very information-oriented episode, in which we get more details about the Jura Tempest Federation nation and how it operates today. The first half is where things get most interesting as we see how the people of Tempest have progressed in their time. During their first meeting, Rimuru and the others discuss the increasing number of monsters approaching their country and how they can solve this problem.

Souei, who had no problem with completely destroying any monster, didn't see any problem with this. But Gobta points out that this could be challenging for his elf riders. And it's clear that to fight him, the only solution Souei can find is to give them more training. But that's when Vesta and the others announced that they were secretly working on a project related to this problem.

To keep the monsters from attacking the festival, they built a prototype of a fully automatic magic generator that could create an anti-magic barrier. In addition, it is not just an ordinary device but also an advanced device with many functions. Things like this truly demonstrate how progressive this small country that Rimuru was created without any forethought has become.

But even though this device was powerful and effective, there was one thing it couldn't handle and that was Veldora's immense aura. Veldora endured a lot of suffering when he couldn't reveal his aura for fear of destroying the Jura Tempest Federation. So he asks Rimuru to come up with an idea soon so he can finally unleash his true power.

The episode then moves into the second half, where we get more information about the present of the Jura Tempest challenge and any future threats. Here, they also discuss Hinata Sakaguchi's motives and who is the mastermind behind all the attacks Rimuru has faced so far.

Verdict

It's true that Tensura handles its world-building expertly and provides accurate information about every character, making future events more interesting. But it is also true that things become a bit boring and monotonous when we are constantly receiving information without any action. So even if this episode was just okay, it still helped us get into the right mindset, which is always a positive.
