Kaiju No. 8 has revealed the teaser for episode 4, scheduled to air this Saturday. Last week we saw the Defense Forces exam in full swing with some changes to the scenario.

Kafka tried to stand up again with Reno's help, but thanks to Kikoru's efforts, the final exam was over in the blink of an eye. The test takers were simply overwhelmed by Kikoru's tremendous fighting power. Meanwhile, a mysterious monster suddenly appeared in the exam room. Due to an unexpected situation, the place fell into chaos.

Kaiju No. 8 – Episode 4 Preview

Production IG is animating the 8th Kaiju anime with Tomomi Kamiya and Shigeyuki Miya as directors. Ichiro Okuchi is in charge of compiling the series. Tetsuya Nishio is the character designer, while Mahiro Maeda and Khara Studio are signing off on creature designs. New anime episodes are streaming on Crunchyroll and Twitter/X concurrently with the Japanese broadcast, and are available on Crunchyroll for traditional streaming afterward.

Crunchyroll describes the plot as follows:
In a world ravaged by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino wishes to join the Self-Defense Forces. He promises to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life will take them on their separate paths. When hired to clean up after a Kaiju battle, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno's determination to join the Self-Defense Force reawakens Kafka's promise to join Mina and protect humanity.
