Summary of chapter 499

The previous chapter started with Vin Jin, who couldn't accept the situation. He even beat Seongji a bit before examining Sujin's body. That's when he realized that she was dead.

He picked her up and ran away to somehow save her. Meanwhile, Seongji thinks that because of PTSD, he killed Sujin. He started crying and banged his head on the floor.

On the other hand, Taejin was thinking about how the situation had turned out. When the first generation king of Seol told about Seongji's condition to his students, Taejin listened to that conversation while he was hiding. He took advantage of this and trapped Seongji.

Meanwhile, we see Seongji heading towards the ocean. He recalls his past with Mujin. He should have died by then.

Fans also learned that the red paper that Choi wanted was owned by Mujin from the beginning. The whole plot is very sad. Next, Seongji finally decides to commit suicide at sea.
