The upcoming Trapezium anime series has released the film's opening scene. The video opens with main character Yu Higashi riding on a train. The opening theme songs by Hoshimachi Suisei and MAISONdes were performed afterwards. The film is scheduled for release on May 10, 2024 in theaters in Japan.

Studio CloverWorks animated the film with Masahiro Shinohara as director and Koji Masunari as film supervisor. Yuuko Kakihara wrote the script, Rio designed the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama composed the music. The main cast includes:

The film is based on the novel series by former Nogizaka46 member Kazumi Takayama and was serialized on Kadokawa's Da Vinci imprint from 2016 to 2018. The story is about successful man Yu Higashi, who sets out to some rules for herself: she won't use social networks, she won't have a boyfriend, and she will make friends with girls from all over the world.
